Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SCADA Systems Manager to join our team. As a key member of our electrical infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of our SCADA systems. This includes ensuring that all designs are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Design:
    • Act as approving technical authority in the production of SCADA Communication design, Bill of Materials, and Configuration of all communication equipment.
    • Collaborate with the P&C team on IED configuration – Comms element.
    • Support on-site SCADA/Communication Design issues.
    • Develop standard RTU/HMI design including signal list.
    • Lead internal and external technical meetings related to SCADA/communication design.
    • Support Cyber Security.
    • Resolve any designs issues/queries that arise on site.
    • Sign-off of the relevant sections of the ERs, appendices, and schedules of all new contracts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SCADA design.
  • EHV substation project design experience up to 132kV.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Excellent knowledge of all published guidelines, ENA standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • A sound knowledge of engineering design principles.
  • An understanding of construction methods.
  • A clean driving licence and flexible approach to working hours.
