Job Description

Bits is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a focus on mobile applications to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests specifically for our mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, developing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and identifying issues across multiple mobile platforms. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that features are built to specifications and defects are addressed promptly. A successful QA Engineer will have a deep understanding of mobile application processes and a keen eye for detail to help enhance our product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing effective test strategies and methodologies.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated testing.
  • Analyzing and reporting test results, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure defect resolution and feature delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in mobile application testing.
  • Proven expertise in test automation, including tools and technologies such as Appium or Espresso.
  • Experience with API testing and integration.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous delivery.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience working in a startup environment, with a focus on speed and efficiency.
