About the Team

We are a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about supporting early years services across Gloucestershire. Our team works closely with early years managers, childcare providers, and other stakeholders to ensure that children and families receive the best possible support.

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analysing data, providing administrative support to early years managers, and ensuring that childcare providers complete all necessary returns.

In this role, you will work closely with the Early Years Sufficiency & Business Manager to monitor and report on key performance indicators, including childcare sufficiency, Ofsted monitoring, and place planning. You will also provide support to early years managers with information and queries as they arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyse data to inform decision-making and improve service delivery
  • Provide administrative support to early years managers, including responding to queries and requests for information
  • Ensure that childcare providers complete all necessary returns and analyse data to aid planning and monitoring
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including childcare sufficiency and Ofsted monitoring
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy
  • Further academic or professional qualifications in an area such as business administration or finance
