About the Role
As a Disability Support Specialist with Alina Homecare, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities to live independently and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend appointments and provide supportive assistance to clients.
- Accompany clients to day centres and engage them in fun activities.
- Support clients with social activities, such as meeting new people and participating in group events.
- Assist clients with day trips and outings, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Help clients with medication management, including creating routines and collecting prescriptions.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, ensuring they maintain a balanced diet.
- Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene and grooming support.
- Support clients with shopping, including budgeting, meal planning, and essential item procurement.
About You
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting people with learning disabilities. You will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality support and enable clients to achieve their goals.
No prior experience is necessary, as we provide comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and confidence to excel in this role.
