Job Title: Humanities Educator

We are seeking an exceptional Humanities Educator to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a key member of our education recruitment company, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational landscape of our partner schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging Humanities curricula that cater to diverse student needs.
  • Lead training programs and contribute to the enhancement of Humanities pedagogy and practice across the school.
  • Provide expertise in delivering exceptional, engaging, and ambitious lessons that foster student growth and development.
  • Support the school in raising standards of teaching and learning across the department and in monitoring progress towards agreed aims.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for improving student outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Hold a teaching qualification and a degree or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate outstanding teaching practice and excellent behavior management skills.
  • Have experience of lesson observations, giving robust feedback, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Contribute to the impact on the quality of learning and teaching and curriculum.
  • Have a proven track record of excellent results at KS3/4 and experience of high-quality pupil tracking and feedback practices.
