Automation Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team at our client, a leading business in the food and beverage sector. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating automated systems within the manufacturing sector, working on turnkey automation projects with industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete life cycle project execution
- Design/development of software for PLC/PC-based control systems
- Planning and participation in testing
- Customer contact, including clarification of requirements
- Participation in the commissioning and service of plants
- Participation in the development of standards/procedures
Requirements:
- Siemens S7 & TIA or Allen Braley experience
- WinCC and AVEVA experience
- Experience working in a customer-facing role
- Experience of travelling to customer sites to commission systems is beneficial
- Experience working in the process, food or beverage industry is essential to this role
Salary and Benefits:
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus a competitive benefits package including bonus opportunity, private healthcare, and employee assistance programme.
