About National Energy Action

We are a leading charity dedicated to eradicating fuel poverty in the UK. Our mission is to improve and promote energy efficiency, bringing social, environmental, and economic benefits. We believe that everyone should be able to afford to keep their homes warm and safe.

As a national charity, we have a strong track record of influencing policy and regulation to benefit our clients. Our teams are friendly, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making a difference. We offer a rewarding workplace where you can build a worthwhile career with a not-for-profit organisation that genuinely impacts people's lives.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to contribute to our work in helping the charity build its profile among national stakeholders while delivering projects aimed at ending fuel poverty. You will be responsible for working with the UK Government, Ofgem, and other regulatory bodies to ensure that energy markets operate in the best interests of our client group.

This position sits within the Policy and Advocacy Directorate, part of a creative and caring team of professionals who bring diverse skills and expertise.

To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrable experience in influencing policy or regulation, preferably in the energy industry or a national charity. A thorough understanding of key energy policy aspects and their impact on fuel poverty is also crucial. As a team player, you will be responsible for reporting to the Head of Policy and Public Affairs, contributing to policy-making decisions through both quantitative and qualitative approaches.
