Sports Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sports Scientist to join our team at London City Lionesses, a women's football team competing in the Women's Championship. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing cutting-edge, female-focused sports science support to our players.

• Work alongside the Head of Performance to plan, deliver, and support the physical provision for all First Team players.
• Lead in the collection and visualisation of daily wellness, physical performance, medical, and GPS data.
• Support and develop women as women, working closely with the Technical, Medical, and Performance Multi-Disciplinary Team.
• Proactively contribute to the development of bespoke monitoring, management, and development plans for all First Team players.
• Provide Sport Science support to players during all training sessions and games, with travel required.

• BSc in Exercise/Sports Science or a related field.
• Master's degree in Sports Science or a performance-related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in the field of professional sports science/performance.
• Applied football experience preferred, especially with female athletes.
• Experience working with female athletes with an understanding of female physiology is essential.
• Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and a strong understanding of Data Visualisation software, specifically Power BI.
