Private Client Legal Secretary Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join our busy private client team. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills and a strong understanding of legal terminology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Typing correspondence to clients, other firms of solicitors, and accountants
  • Preparing and completing legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  • Managing the solicitors' and fee-earners' diaries, making appointments, and arranging meetings
  • Answering the telephone, taking messages, and dealing with queries
  • Handling post, including incoming and outgoing mail
  • Setting up new files, closing, and archiving files, and sending them for storage
  • Managing accounts, including typing client bills, completing timesheets, and organizing payments and expenses
  • Performing other administrative duties, such as photocopying and filing
Requirements:
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Preferred experience working in a legal environment
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
