We are seeking a Senior Humanities Educator to lead our humanities department and provide academic excellence to our students. Located in Newham, this prestigious mixed school boasts an outstanding reputation and excellent transport links.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for teaching at KS3 & KS4 levels and leading a well-resourced department with an approachable and supportive head of department. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs with a formal teaching qualification and QTS.

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000-£65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements:

  • Head of Humanities with the ability to teach at KS3 & KS4
  • A formal teaching qualification with QTS (i.e. PGCE)
  • Legal ability to work within the UK
