Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in facilitating interaction between clinical and administrative functions within the organization. Reporting to the Business Engagement Lead, you will work closely with the enterprise architecture and Portfolio Management office (PMO) functions to ensure the successful scoping and delivery of all IM&T project work.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate requirements workshops, guiding stakeholders through the process to capture full capabilities without pre-conceived solutions.
  • Develop user stories and use cases.
  • Analyze business requirements for clarity, completeness, and feasibility, resolving ambiguities.
  • Create materials to ensure IT teams understand business processes and business stakeholders understand IT workflows.

Person Specification:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Previous Healthcare experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Business analysis diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • PRINCE2 foundation Benefits Management Qualification.

Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience gathering, identifying, interpreting, and elaborating customer requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Experience of identifying, tracking, and delivering benefits.

Desirable:

  • Experience of SDLC activities, including testing and development of use cases/user stories.

Communication and Relationship Skills:

Essential:

  • Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical and non-technical concepts with high clarity.
  • Demonstrates an ability to influence and persuade.

Desirable:

  • Ability to deal with resistance to change.

Analytical and Judgement Skills:

Essential:

  • Able to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Able to think analytically about problems and utilize baselining.

Desirable:

  • Understanding of corporate quality and change management processes.
