Job Summary:

Hunter Selection is seeking an experienced Toolmaker to join our client's skilled team in the Injection Moulding industry. As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for manufacturing tooling parts using a full range of Tool room equipment from detailed customer drawings or 3D Models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing of tooling parts using a full range of Tool room equipment from detailed customer drawings or 3D Models.
  • Interpret technical drawings and 3D models.
  • Deliver estimated timelines, plan, execute and complete all activities related to injection mould tools assembly equipment and fixtures to customers' expectations.
  • Support the manufacture and validation of new tooling and ensure the appropriate standard and quality of work delivered.
  • Spot potential issues with manufacture and provide preventative solutions.
  • Monitoring the condition of the tool room equipment to appropriate standards.

Requirements:

  • An excellent knowledge of injection moulding principles is essential.
  • Time served apprenticeship.
  • 3 years experience as a Toolmaker - Minimum required.
