About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Project Worker to join our Mental Health Service at Sackville Road, Hove. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to encourage customers to maximise their potential and independence
  • Support progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
  • Offer one-to-one support as required, promoting safety and well-being
  • Regularly assess customer needs, writing and updating support plans
  • Develop professional relationships with customers, ensuring their personal choice, privacy, and dignity are maintained
  • Delivery of small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
Requirements
  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills, functional literacy, and numeracy
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities while working to deadlines and targets
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards is essential
