Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Orthoptist to join our department at Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth. The successful candidate will be keen to develop their knowledge and skills, with mentorship and preceptership programmes for newly qualified Orthoptists provided.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients, working closely with a team of Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a degree/diploma in Orthoptics and current registration with HCPC.
