Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Haematologist to join our well-established service at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate fully in the provision of haematology services, both at Airedale and with our partners at Bradford Teaching Hospitals.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with blood disorders, including haematological malignancies and non-malignant conditions. They will work closely with a well-established team of chemotherapy-trained nurses, a consultant pharmacist, and specialist haematology pharmacists to deliver excellent patient care.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in haematology, with experience of undertaking audits and presenting their findings. They will also have a CCT in Haematology and GMC registration. A higher degree (PhD; MD) or Mphil is desirable, as is post-MD/PhD research experience and experience within a research team.
