Mental Health and Wellbeing Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health and Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at an Outstanding Secondary School in the Borough of Wandsworth.
The successful candidate will work alongside teaching professionals and support staff to assist children with SEND, SEMH, and additional needs in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students requiring extra support in the classroom with Maths, English, Science, and more
- Reporting feedback to class teachers
- Planning and running 1:1 and small group sessions targeting pupil progress
Requirements:
- A graduate with strong academics
- School-based experience
- A sufficient understanding of SEN/SEMH needs
- A committed, driven, and compassionate individual
Working Arrangements:
- Monday - Friday only
- 8.30am - 4pm
- Long-Term, Full-Time position
- Opportunities for permanent positions
