Job Title: Traincare Operative

At Shorterm Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Traincare Operative to join our team. As a Traincare Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our trains.

Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning trains, including the roof and exterior
Using various chemicals and cleaning liquids
Manual labor
Bio-Cleans (disinfecting toilets and buffet cars)
Working within a safety-critical environment
Reporting any maintenance issues for fleets to go out into service at the required standard
Radio communication and point of contact for team leaders
Training staff to complete service and heavy cleans to the highest possible standard
Bio cleans and fatality cleaner
Underframe cleaning
Industrial carpet cleaning throughout the fleet for Cross County and Virgin trains
Oxal cleaning (industrial acid clean) on the exterior for Arrow Solutions promotion

Requirements:
Previous experience in cleaning or heavy industry
Ability to work nights and weekends
Own transport
Ability to pass a drugs and alcohol test
