Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support the educational and spiritual development of our students. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to deliver lessons, provide one-on-one support to students, and contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in delivering lessons and providing educational support to students
  • Provide one-on-one support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting a sense of community and respect among students
  • Participate in religious activities and events, supporting the spiritual life of the school community
Requirements:
  • Practicing Catholic or strong interest in Catholic education and values
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of RWI Phonics Scheme (Read, Write, Ink)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training as required
