Deputy Operations Manager

As a Deputy Operations Manager at Secure Care UK - Bases, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of patient transition care while upholding responsible business practices within a healthcare environment. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and develop a team, ensuring seamless transitions for patients. Main Responsibilities:
- Enforce health and safety standards, monitoring compliance with legislation on a daily basis.
- Act as a role model for quality patient care, embodying the Company's values, competencies, policies, and procedures.
- Be the custodian of the Code of Conduct, promoting professional behavior within the team.
- Monitor patient care standards, fostering a learning culture and providing innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate recruitment, induction, development, and retention of the team.
- Motivate and demonstrate genuine care for the team through effective communication, proficient team meetings, teamworking, and coaching.
- Identify potential development areas within the team's performance and ensure they have the skills and motivation to achieve objectives and business goals, while managing poor performance for improvement.
- Implement electronic systems for capturing required data, review and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Balance professional administration duties with the needs of the team during patient transitions.
- Take accountability for own continual professional development and reflective practice for learning.
- Achieve business KPIs, goals, and objectives.
- Maintain high vehicle standards.
- Respond positively to change by supporting and delivering Company new initiatives.
- Manage rotas effectively to optimize productivity and efficiency, balancing high standards of care for patients.
- Utilize available reports and data to make commercial and effective decisions in a fair and equitable manner.
- Provide support for teams when on call.
- Assume the role of business development as required, ensuring all opportunities are maximized through networking and relationship building with clients and partners.
- Ensure the integrity of the SCUK brand by maintaining high professional standards for the whole team at all times.
- Collaborate respectfully with Company departments to facilitate deployments, audits, checks, and standard operating procedures for effective implementation and maintenance.
- Ensure all work activities for the teams are in line with legislation.
