Key Responsibilities- Design and implement end-to-end systems using your expertise in Java, frameworks, and tool ecosystems.
- Translate business requirements into technical tasks and code.
- Develop test-driven features and demonstrate your understanding of the TDD cycle.
- Apply your knowledge of software design principles to create well-structured, maintainable software.
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to communicate and translate needs into product improvements.
- Support production systems, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Share knowledge with the wider engineering community.
- Mentor and develop others around you.
- Experience with Java 8+ is a must.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) is essential.
- Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases is required.
- Experience scaling systems is crucial.
- Experience working with multiple software development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall) is necessary.
- Experience with eCommerce and search systems is a plus.
- Experience with reactive programming is a plus.
- Annual bonus scheme of up to 20% of base salary.
- Holiday starting at 25 days plus a personal day (plus Bank holidays).
