Commercial Manager for Heavy Civil Engineering

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Description:
We are preparing to launch a major construction project in South Wales, involving heavy civil engineering and industrial projects over the next few years.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a complex project with a value exceeding £200m under a NEC form of contract. As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage commercial aspects, including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and management of subcontract work packages.
You will be responsible for cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials to minimize risk, cost, and maximize value.
Your Profile:
- A degree in BSc Quantity Surveying/Commercial Management or equivalent experience/memberships.
- At least 5 years of experience managing large projects valued at over £100m.
- Large-scale industrial/civil engineering experience preferred.
- Experience working on Construction Management Projects.
- Experience working with an NEC Form of Contract.
