About Our Future Health

We are seeking a highly skilled Study Support Centre Advisor to join our team. As the main point of contact for study volunteers, you will play a vital role in guiding them through their journey with our programme.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with volunteers, internal staff, and external partners, providing accurate information and advice. You will also have the chance to learn about our organisation and progress into other opportunities as we grow.

Our plan is to bring together 5 million volunteers from across the UK who will contribute information to help build a detailed picture of people's health. Researchers will use this information to make new discoveries about human health and diseases, benefiting future generations.

Requirements

You will need to demonstrate excellent service skills, with the ability to build rapport with volunteers and colleagues. You should be empathetic, able to communicate openly and clearly, and inspire trust in others.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and is not afraid to speak up in a constructive way. You will need to have experience in communicating complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and explain complex scientific concepts
  • Experience in working with volunteers and providing support
  • Competency in software programmes, including Microsoft Office
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively
  • A science-based degree or experience in supporting a research programme
