Business Development Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Business Development Coordinator to join our team at SIG Plc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting the growth and development of our business in the Northern Scotland region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer visits and act as the main point of contact for the region's customers
  • Raise quotations and manage customer records
  • Work closely with the Sales Systems Manager to ensure customer accounts are set up correctly
  • Assist with the day-to-day time management of the team
  • Canvass potential new customers and identify opportunities for upselling
  • Monitor quotations and ensure they meet service levels

Requirements

  • Strong customer-focused background
  • Ability to prioritise and understand customer requirements
  • Knowledge of metal cladding and profiles market an advantage
  • Knowledge of SAP an advantage
  • Experience in using Microsoft packages
  • Experience in pricing and account management preferred
