Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team at The Recruitment Fix (TRF-Ltd). As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for producing bespoke tooling for a range of customers from drawing to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture, modify, repair, and maintain extrusion tooling and associated equipment.
  • Operate milling, turning, grinding, and XYZ semi-CNC machines, as well as perform benchwork.
  • Maintain all necessary records, including tool trials and job sheets.
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Comply with all health and safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Toolmaker.
  • Proficiency in manual lathes, manual milling machines, and surface grinders.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GA's.
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerances.
  • Experience working with various materials, including steels and aluminium.
