About the Opportunity

We are currently collaborating with a pioneering client in the defence industry to secure an Electronics Equipment Requirements Authority.

As a senior specialist, you will contribute to delivering timely solutions that meet the needs of an export customer operating in the land domain.

You will report to the Weapon System Equipment Design Lead, ensuring compliance with hosting platform interfaces and overseeing the technical validation of electronic equipment through rigorous testing and analysis.

This role demands applicants who hold a minimum of British citizenship or are Dual UK nationals with British citizenship and capable of achieving relevant security clearance levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply knowledge of electronics design for computing applications and networking technologies.
  • Prioritize and utilize high integrity hardware expertise as required.
  • Manage Technical Management activities including pre-contract bidding, milestone completion and R&D.
  • Develop comprehensive strategies for verifying and validating electrical, mechanical, software, and transversal properties of systems or subsystems.
  • Support system certification by providing assurance evidence for Electronic Subsystems to facilitate system-level certification of the Weapon System for trials or delivery.

About You:

  • Demonstrate solid experience in electronics design for computing applications and networking technologies.
  • Familiarity with high integrity hardware is advantageous.
  • Showcase successful Technical Management experience including pre-contract bidding, milestone completion and R&D.
  • Exhibit exceptional skills in Verification and Validation: Developing comprehensive strategies for verifying and validating electrical, mechanical, software, and transversal properties of a system or subsystem.
  • Demonstrate ability to provide assurance evidence for Electronic Subsystems to facilitate system-level certification of the Weapon System for trials or delivery.

The salary for this role is £70,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on your experience.
