Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Building Surveyor Claims Specialist to join our team at NHBC. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing bespoke strategies for investigations, cost assessments, and remediation works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate building defects and damage to determine causation.
  • Manage the timely delivery and procurement of specialist consultants and remediation work contractors.
  • Provide technical support and assistance.
  • Check contract documentation and responsibilities such as CDM, H&S and Party Wall Act requirements have been considered and met.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of traditional and modern methods of construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, motivated and driven, with the ability to achieve results.
  • Working knowledge of CDM and general H&S principles.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize their own workload.
