We are seeking a skilled Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our team at Place2Be, a leading children's mental health charity. As a qualified therapist, you will work with children and young people in schools to provide emotional support and help them overcome challenges.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families. As a Child and Adolescent Therapist, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide individual and group therapy sessions. You will also contribute to the development of clinical services and participate in training and supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and young people
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for children
  • Participate in training and supervision to enhance clinical skills
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in counselling or psychotherapy (e.g., diploma, degree, or postgraduate certificate)
  • Experience working with children and young people in a therapeutic setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of clients and colleagues
