Senior Dietitian – CAMHS Eating Disorders

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join our team in the Leicestershire Nutrition and Dietetic Service. As a key member of the Paediatric Team, you will be responsible for providing professional and evidence-based dietetic advice to Paediatric patients, parents/carers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a Paediatric caseload effectively by working with inpatients, phone reviews, outpatient appointments, attending MDT meetings for patients, and making clinical decisions.
- Provide expert dietetic advice to Paediatric patients, parents/carers, and staff, promoting best practice and evidence-based advice.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans for Paediatric patients.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of education and training programs for staff and patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.
Requirements
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Dietitian.
- Postgraduate qualification in Dietetics or a related field.
- Experience of working in a Paediatric setting, preferably in a community health setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, parents/carers, and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
