Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology to join our Child and Adolescent Psychological Services team in NHS Dumfries & Galloway.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work with children and young people presenting with a range of mental health difficulties, as well as their parents and carers. The postholder will deliver psychological therapies, including parenting interventions, and support training and supervision of other health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver psychological therapies for children and young people with moderate difficulties
- Offer parenting interventions through 1:1 work and group-based interventions
- Support training and supervision of other health professionals
- Contribute to the development of the Child and Adolescent Psychological Services team
The Child and Adolescent Psychological Services team works with children and young people presenting with a range of mental health difficulties. We have a strong focus on providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for our service users.
