Skanska UK Plc has been appointed to the North West and Central Framework and allocated a bridge replacement project in the region. We are seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to join our Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on project compliance with the Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) and statutory provisions.
  • Build partnerships with customers and supply chain to contribute to customer success and meet expectations in relation to health, safety, and wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with Network Rail principal contractor license and other requirements, such as RISQS.
  • Lead a project team of Health and Safety professionals, providing guidance and mentoring for their professional development.
  • Review quality of work, including audits, inspections, and incident investigation reports.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with a wide range of stakeholders and interested parties, including senior management.
  • Strong rail background.
