About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Research & Insight Consultant to join our Research & Insight team at British Airways. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving the customer agenda using compelling customer insight from a breadth of sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer insight from market research to inform business decisions and drive change in our product and service.
  • Define, develop, and deliver insight solutions and recommendations that meet the needs of internal stakeholders and the business.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with internal colleagues and third-party insight suppliers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in our partner airlines within IAG, our parent company.
  • Act as an internal consultant to colleagues on customer-related matters.
  • Communicate insights in a compelling and impactful way.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing large-scale quantitative insight programs, ideally in the customer experience.
  • Relevant experience of working with external market research agencies, consultancies, or clients.
  • Proven analytical ability to synthesize a broad range of data sources, including internal operational and social media data, to produce recommendations and insights.
  • Comfortable presenting complex data and strategic recommendations at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to interrogate structured and unstructured data sets.
