Job Description

As a skilled Electrician, you will be responsible for conducting planned preventative maintenance tasks on domestic and commercial properties at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and RAF Feltwell. You will work as part of a team of 8 electricians to ensure the electrical systems are safe and compliant with legislation.

The main responsibilities include conducting five-year fixed wire inspections, primarily on MoD family housing. Additional tasks involve responding to call-outs for minor new works and installations, as well as performing emergency lighting checks and distribution board inspections.

  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Candidates must hold City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation and City & Guilds 18th Edition. Previous experience conducting fixed wire tests in domestic properties is also essential.

A competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum is offered, making this an exciting opportunity to join Mainstay Facilities and develop your skills in a varied and rewarding role.

The role involves working in domestic properties, interacting with occupants regularly. A full, clean UK driving licence is required, as a company van will be provided for business use.
