About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team at Evelyn Partners. As an Operations Executive, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business, working closely with our team to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Task Management: Ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and work produced within deadlines, with any anomalies reported to your line manager within agreed timescales.
  • Performance Metrics: Ensure that personal and team KPI's / KRI's / MIR are met, assist in collation of MI highlighting any issues to management.
  • Client Communication: Respond to telephone and email enquiries in a timely professional manner, liaising with fund managers and external parties where relevant and in a timely manner, escalating any issues where relevant.
  • Document Management: Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries in a timely manner, ensuring all client and external documents are relevant and up to date.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to the review of team tasks, identifying improvements with a view to enhancing client service. Participate in, and contribute to, any ad-hoc project-related work where necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise errors and ensuring high quality service levels are delivered. Ensuring all work is with a high level of accuracy, including data input, document checking and payments, escalating to manager or relevant department where necessary.
  • Team Support: Support and provide cover for other members of the team and wider department as and when required.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training new recruits to the team in BAU activities, acting as a positive role model.
  • Client Focus: Ensure that fair treatment of clients is at the forefront of all activities and that all interactions are conducted in an open and transparent manner.
  • Conduct Risk Framework: Demonstrate an understanding and application of the Group's Conduct Risk Framework Ensure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Policy and Procedure: Operate in accordance with division's policies and procedures manuals.
  • Additional Duties: Any other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
  • Interest in Financial Services: Demonstrable interest in financial services and in particular investment management.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong Interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to senior audiences.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team but concurrently comfortable to work individually.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Organisation and Time Management: Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Customer Service: Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service both internally and externally.
  • Flexibility: Flexible approach to team priorities.
