Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a robust security posture to safeguard infrastructure and web presence.
  • Assessing vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Evaluating risk assessments and performing threat modeling of web application architectures.
  • Creating a thorough vulnerability management plan.
  • Utilizing open-source intelligence tools for passive reconnaissance.
  • Conducting footprinting and reconnaissance exercises using advanced methods and technologies.
  • Mastery of various scanning techniques using NMAP and NPING, while avoiding IDS and firewall detection.
  • Understanding web application and server vulnerabilities, and implementing preventative measures.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree that demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and articulation of complex ideas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team, highlighting adaptability and teamwork capabilities.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
