Job Summary

As a Community Operations Manager at Hatched Recruitment Group, you will be responsible for the day-to-day service management and development of policy and strategy within the Safer Communities Service. Your key objective will be to deliver an efficient, effective, and comprehensive Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and Statutory Nuisance Service to protect and support residents and businesses in Lewisham.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead on ASB and Statutory Nuisance, setting a good example in terms of conduct, motivating and performance managing staff, making and communicating timely decisions about the service, and working to draw on good practice to deliver services that meet the customers' needs within budget.
* Represent the Head of Safer Communities and the Council at both internal and external meetings where appropriate.
* Provide professional advice and guidance (written and verbal) to internal and external service partners, including managers, staff, and Members, in order to improve the quality of services for residents.
* Deal with the preparation, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of clear, logical, accurate, and timely reports, briefing notes, documents, funding bids, schedules of work, spreadsheets, data analysis, and feedback as required.

Requirements

* Familiarity with and up-to-date knowledge of national legislation and policy relating to ASB and Statutory Nuisance.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and performance manage staff effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in partnership and collaboration with colleagues in the Safer Communities Service.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
