About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Driller to join our team at Structural Soils. As an Assistant Driller, you will play a key role in assisting the Lead Driller to drill boreholes on sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Lead Driller in drilling operations, including manual handling and moving heavy items.
  • Undertake general labouring duties, such as erecting fences, reinstatement, and delivery of consumables.
  • Learn the process and operation of drilling rigs, including maintenance and safety procedures.
  • Ensure safety throughout the drilling process, adhering to company policies and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Full driving licence is essential.
  • Flexibility to work in varying locations around the UK.
  • Previous manual work experience desirable.
  • Previous drilling skills and/or experience desirable but not essential.
  • CSCS Card is desirable but not essential.
