We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Crewe. As a key member of our development team, you'll play a vital role in designing and developing next-generation software applications with an emphasis on cloud-based data services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead software design and development with a focus on cloud-based data intensive applications.
- Maintain, optimise and modernise existing software to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Support R&D activities at international sports events.
- Streamline development processes to reduce complexity and deployment time.
Requirements:
- Full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js experience with exposure to front-end frameworks like Svelte/React/Angular.
- Demonstrable experience designing, developing, and modernising desktop applications.
- Knowledge of common software architecture patterns, including microservices.
- Experience deploying solutions on Azure and creating automated build and deployment pipelines.
