Key Responsibilities:

  1. Architecture and Concepts:
  • Develop and implement electronic system architectures and concepts that meet customer requirements.
  • Research and identify best-fit solutions for customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective system design.
PCB Design:
  • Design and develop PCB assembly designs, including schematics, BOM, layout, and component library management.
  • Perform tolerance analysis of parts and assemblies.
  • Ensure PCB and component physical interfaces meet design requirements.
Prototype and Test:
  • Design and develop prototypes to test and validate electronic systems.
  • Procure prototypes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Write test specifications and conduct testing and troubleshooting.
  • Fettle and modify prototypes as needed.
Design Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to QMS processes and compliance standards.
  • Produce and present design outputs to internal and external audiences.
Professionalism:
  • Exhibit professional behavior when dealing with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Communicate openly and honestly.
  • Seek and welcome feedback.
  • Collaborate effectively to solve problems.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's honours degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience.
  • Proficient in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, and other test equipment.
  • Ability to identify technical risks and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in using design tools like Altium and Orcad.
  • Advanced user of MS applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
