Job Overview
Sprint Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Mobile HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic to join their team in the Midlands area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing mobile HGV / Mobile Fleet maintenance services to clients across the region.

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established nationwide fleet service company, providing mobile maintenance services to clients in the Midlands area. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy goods vehicle maintenance, plant mechanics, and related technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure vehicles are maintained above the minimum standards required by the DVSA between scheduled service/inspection dates to support existing third-party servicing arrangements.
- Provide standby and out of hours callout cover when required
- Ensure vehicle chassis and associated vehicle auxiliary engine are maintained in line with the service planner and company policies
- Have the opportunity to work on a range of vehicles from light commercial to HGV vehicles and RCV's
- Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times

Requirements
- Experienced mechanic (Level 2 plus qualified desirable)
- Be familiar with diagnostic systems
- Have knowledge of Hydraulics and pneumatics, Heavy vehicles, construction vehicles and HGV or similar
- Hold a Category C / Class 2 driving licence is desirable

Benefits
- Salary: £48,000 - £50,500 per annum
- Plus Van - paid door to door plus overtime
- Monday - Friday Days
