We are recruiting for a Support Specialist to join our team in Salford and Eccles.

This role will involve providing support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them to maximise their potential and live independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality support service, encouraging customers to develop their daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping, and social inclusion.

A full valid driving licence is essential as occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centred support to customers with mental health needs
  • Delivering a safe and supportive environment for customers
  • Encouraging customers to participate in activities that promote independence and well-being
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and progress
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for customers

Requirements:

  • A caring and approachable nature with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances
  • Level 2 NVQ Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
