Responsibilities
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop excellent communication skills to build strong relationships with students and staff.
  • Support Student Development: Be encouraging and supportive, with a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children's development.
  • Ensure Student Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of the student, while maintaining an empathetic approach and understanding of behaviours stemming from other problems.
  • Mentor and Advise: Provide consistent mentoring, motivating, and advising to support the student's well-being and stability.
Requirements
  • Experience: Have experience working with children, or adults, with additional needs.
  • Qualifications: Hold a L2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Skills: Be able to support children of all abilities, with a positive and ambitious attitude to learning.
