Cleaning Operative

Samsic UK is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at the National Blood Team Base in Ipswich. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Empty trash and recyclables, and restock soap and paper products.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the facility.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities team.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning process.
- 1+ year of cleaning experience, preferably in a healthcare or facilities management setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
- A competitive hourly rate of £11.44.
