About the Role
Farfetch is seeking a skilled Content Writer to join our progressive and innovative Copy Creation & Localisation team. As a Content Writer, you will be responsible for writing engaging product descriptions for FARFETCH and Browns, adhering to the tone of voice and style guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, accurate, and engaging product descriptions that meet daily targets;
- Deliver exceptional content that maintains a Farfetch level of quality and tone-of-voice;
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in product descriptions;
- Conduct thorough research on products, brands, and competitors to stay up-to-date with industry news;
- Attend relevant brand training sessions and present findings to the team;
- Participate in writers' workshops to improve writing skills;
- Produce product descriptions for specific brands or categories;
- Perform audits as required;
- Be agile and work across multiple tenants and tools as needed.
Requirements
- Fluency in English;
- Writing background, preferably in a fashion e-commerce environment;
- Knowledge and passion for fashion at all levels, from high-end designers to cutting-edge street style;
- Excellent writing style that is accurate, engaging, and adaptable, with impeccable grammar;
- Understanding of garment and accessory construction;
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;
- Comfortable working with digital tools on an in-house CMS.
