About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Trade Counter Assistant and Driver. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, and ensuring the smooth operation of our trade counter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Sales and Marketing: Achieve sales targets by confidently communicating product knowledge to customers, identifying sales opportunities, and promoting our products and services.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Safely operate company vehicles, pick, load, and deliver products to customers, and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
  • Branch Operations: Assist the Branch Manager with day-to-day branch operations, including stock management, warehouse maintenance, and front-of-house cleanliness.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve branch sales targets, support new and existing customers, and maintain a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Customer Focus: Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and achieving business targets.
  • Commercial Awareness: Commercial approach to drive sales and maximize margins, while ensuring customers always walk away happy.
  • Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, use initiative, and work independently.
  • Technical Skills: Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry-standard software, such as SAP.
  • Driving and Logistics: Full and valid driving license, with a FLT license a distinct advantage.

  • Competitive Salary: A very competitive basic salary of £26,698 per year.
  • Monthly Bonus Scheme: An excellent monthly bonus scheme, which added to your salary would be up to £30,298 per year.
