Recreation Assistant

We are seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our friendly Sports Centre team on a fixed-term basis until at least the Spring term 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all sports equipment is set up, dismantled, maintained and kept clean. A qualified lifeguard and first aid qualification are desirable, but not essential. The role will involve some reception duties and requires excellent customer service skills. The Sports Centre is open seven days a week to students, staff, parents and some members of the local community. The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, mainly afternoons, evenings and weekends, with flexibility required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all sports equipment is set up, dismantled, maintained and kept clean

Requirements:

• Desirable: qualified lifeguard and first aid qualification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility required
