London, Greater London, United Kingdom Willis Towers Watson Full time

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) is a legacy-driven organization with a rich history dating back to the Titanic in 1912. We've evolved significantly since then, embracing innovation and growth opportunities. As a Delivery Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in our Global Finance Analytics CoE (GFA CoE).

The GFA CoE is a centralized finance function that seeks an experienced professional to drive business value by partnering closely with the Business and Finance Leadership team. In this role, you will become a trusted advisor, driving strategic initiatives and executing plans to build data, analytics, planning, and forecasting capabilities on a global scale.

GFA CoE is a critical element of Finance's strategy to become more strategic and integrated while being agile in deploying innovative solutions globally. As an ideal candidate, you should have a background in global enterprise transformations, collaborating with Business, Finance leaders, and other functional leaders.

  • Act as a CoE thought leader, strategic partner, demand management liaison, and delivery lead for day-to-day coordination and execution of CoE activities.
  • Lead strategy sessions, solution designs, and project management efforts for the GFA CoE.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations to articulate strategic roadmaps, risks, issues, key design decisions, and change management efforts.

In collaboration with the Finance Leadership team, you will install a robust governance framework to ensure continued evolution, maturation, and integrity of the Finance operating model. You will mobilize and manage cross-functional teams to turn initial ideas into strategic priorities and deliver end solutions with change and go-live support.

As a Delivery Lead, you are responsible for leading operational efforts by cultivating talent, optimizing operational performance, reporting out KPIs, and embedding operational best practices as part of the CoE. You will participate in the software development lifecycle, from business requirements to specialist capabilities solutions focused on data, insight, analysis, reporting, planning, and forecasting.

You are accountable for the integrity and quality of key outputs and the strategic direction of the CoE based on the demands of the businesses and Finance to support WTW's growth strategies. Your leadership skills will be essential in mentoring and developing finance professionals across centers, fostering a culture of one team, growth mindset, excellence, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a quantitative field, preferably with a master's degree. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of progressive experience in different disciplines, including FP&A, operations, transformation, and program management in the financial services industry.

Candidates should possess exceptional Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with experience working in an agile software development environment. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, planning and forecasting tools like Anaplan and eBPCs, data management tools like Azure and Google Cloud Platform, and project management tools like Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Teams are highly desirable.

A Data-driven decision mindset, sound judgment, analytical thinking, and insightful recommendations are essential skills for this role. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills are also required, along with the ability to travel as business necessitates.
