Job Summary:
As a Security Officer at ABM, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and staff. We are seeking a professional and experienced individual to join our team as a Security Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of awareness and visibility within the site, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals and assets.
- Act as a deterrent to potential security threats, while also being approachable and professional in your interactions with customers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ABM's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other security staff and site management to achieve our security objectives.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to queries and concerns.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm systems, taking prompt action to respond to any security incidents.
- Participate in regular training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and respectful team culture, promoting a culture of inclusion and diversity.
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a security role is desirable, but not essential.
- SIA Licence and First Aid qualification are essential.
