About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 2 class teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a Year 2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to a class of students, promoting their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to Year 2 students
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • UK qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Recent teaching experience within the last 10 years
  • Ability to differentiate content for pupils with SEND
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Proficiency in using formative and summative assessments to maximise pupil progress
