About the Role

Piper Maddox is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our innovative team focused on revolutionizing the logistics industry's approach to reducing CO2 emissions.

We are developing a groundbreaking battery-solar system to power refrigeration units, with a mission to combat the staggering 50,000,000 tonnes of yearly CO2 emissions from refrigerated trailers.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Optimizing cloud infrastructure and building cloud management and reporting systems, hosted in Azure.
  • Designing, building, and implementing APIs to facilitate seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure and refrigeration units (TRUs).
  • Conception, development, and implementation of Frontend software solutions using TypeScript and React.
  • Providing ongoing development and optimization support for existing software.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum 4 years of commercial software development experience, with expertise in Python.
  • Proficiency in Cloud-based solutions, specifically Azure.
  • Experience with TypeScript/React is preferred.
  • Understanding of time-series data and structured databases.
  • Familiarity with virtualization and containerization technologies, such as Docker.
  • Knowledge of C++ is advantageous.
