Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Optimization Engineer to join our team at Management Applications, Inc. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a solution that optimizes the existing Texas Poison Control Network (TPCN) configuration for a hosted application environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assess the TPCN's current application environment and recommend compliant Texas Administrative Code Chapter 202 (TAC 202) Information Security Standards and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
  2. Deploy the solution, including user acceptance testing and training at each Regional Poison Control Center (RPCC).
  3. Provision TAC 202 and HIPAA-compliant managed services for the solution on an ongoing basis upon deployment completion.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with LAN/WAN/VPN technologies, as well as proficiency in Lenovo, Xerox, APC, IBM, Viewsonic, toxicall, and Micromedex systems.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
